The Suncoast Jewish Alliance works alongside organizations across the Sarasota-Manatee community that share our commitment to justice, inclusion, and civic engagement.
Founded in 1913 with the timeless mission to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. ADL Florida responds to acts of antisemitism and hate, builds community partnerships, advocates for civil rights, and provides education programs for schools and workplaces.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum was founded within 24 hours of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack. A civil, non-political organization, they work to bring all remaining hostages home through diplomatic outreach, global awareness campaigns, legal action, and direct support to hostage families worldwide.

Dedicated to providing humanities access to all Floridians, wherever located, through partnership with nonprofit cultural organizations. Florida Humanities preserves, promotes, and shares the history, literature, culture, and personal stories that help Floridians better understand themselves and their communities.

A national organization with chapters in 35 states that hosts weekly runs and walking events aimed at bringing attention to the Israeli hostages taken in Hamas’ October 7, 2023 terror attack. Their focus is solely on doing everything possible to bring the hostages home.
RUN FOR THEIR LIVES
A Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee initiative focused on the safety and security of the local Jewish community, providing training in situational awareness, active threat response, and emergency preparedness for organizations and their members.
SAFE SRQ
An interfaith network representing over 90 churches, synagogues, and faith-based organizations across Sarasota County, bringing local faith leaders together to serve the community through outreach, advocacy, and events like the annual Good Friday procession and Thanksgiving luncheon.

he official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America, founded in 2004, working to ensure the safety, security, and resiliency of the Jewish people across 146 Federations and over 300 communities.

A youth-led, multigenerational nonprofit based in Sarasota that builds civic power through school board organizing, voter mobilization, and community action, training young leaders to advocate for equity and democracy across Florida.

A growing group of Sarasota County residents committed to promoting awareness about trauma and its effects. Through Healing, Education, Action, and Leadership, SRQ Strong works to build a trauma-informed community across the Suncoast region.
