Leader: When protections for the environment are rolled back and we disregard our call to care for our common planet,

Leader: When acts of hate rose across the country, and racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia and xenophobia grow louder,

Leader: When education of the history of African Americans, Latinos and LGBTQ+ is denied, 

All: We are here to support each other. 

Leader: When freedom of the press is attacked and truth is undermined, 

All: We are here to support each other. 

Leader: When economic policies favor the wealthy and deepen the suffering of the poor, 

All: We are here to support each other. 

Leader: When women’s rights to control their own bodies are under siege, 

All: We are here to support each other. 

Leader: When science is silenced and facts are pushed aside for political gain,

Leader: When the spirit of compassion, justice, and democracy are in jeopardy,
